From the Fourier Transform to the Wavelet Transform: Novel Optimal Signal Processing Methods for Functional Brain Mapping Using Magnetic Resonance

This project addresses the signal processing issues confronting functional brain mapping using magnetic resonance imaging. Professor Liang's team will develop and implement optimal methods for signal acquisition and processing to enable functional brain studies to be carried out at a much higher speed, efficiency and quantitative accuracy.
