Independent journalist, author and activist Mark Hertsgaard has twice traveled around the world investigating the declining health of the world environment. From the boardrooms of Paris to the streets of Bangkok and Beijing, Hertsgaard spent over six years traveling to nineteen countries interviewing and observing local reaction to the escalating environmental crisis.
