Event Description

Career U.S.  diplomat John Brady Kiesling's February 27, 2003 resignation letter to Secretary of State Colin Powell–published in the New York Times–represented a rare voice of  dissent as war with Iraq loomed.  Kiesling will discuss strategies for repairing America's damaged international legitimacy and influence in the wake of Iraq and the "Global War on Terror."
