Professor Fradkin is a theoretical physicist working primarily in condensed matter physics and quantum field theory. Much of his work focuses on the physics of strongly interacting macroscopic quantum systems such as high-temperature superconductors and intertwined orders, quantum criticality, quantum Hall fluids, topological phases of matter and states of matter with large-scale quantum entanglement.
