Event Description

Amanda Browder will discuss her public art project, Chromatopia, in collaboration with the School of Art + Design and Stratton Academy of the Arts. Browder’s public art projects aim to give a voice to the community via collaborative contemporary art practices. Her work aims to level the hierarchy between the artist and the audience. Through her open call for fabric donations and public sewing days, she encourages all visitors to feel ownership and pride in the collective making of a visual art piece for their community.
