World food production must grow at a steady clip to meet the challenges of population growth and economic development. But how? Agricultural policy analyst, Charles Benbrook argues that we are not pursuing the best opportunities to intensify production. In addressing technological advancements and their effects on the global ecosystem, he will emphasize the growth of biotechnology and genetically modified organisms.
