Event Description

Austria's Freedom Party, under the leadership of Jrg Haider, is the largest right-wing party in Europe. Since February 2000, it has been a part of Austria?s government. Doron Rabinovici, Austria?s leading public intellectual, has spearheaded a massive resistance movement against the Freedom Party and its racist policies. Here, he discuss his ongoing struggle against anti-Semitism, xenophobia, and Austria?s unwillingness to deal with its Nazi past.
