Event Description

Ordinary common sense and everyday people have no problem with using anecdotal information and anthropomorphic attributions to interpret and understand animal behavior.  In a scientific milieu, however, "anecdote" and "anthropomorphism" are dirty words, and are unequivocally dismissed as fallacious.  We will examine the question of whether or not such cavalier dismissal is justified.
