Professor Slawek's lecture is being given in conjunction with Images of Krishna: Painted Pichlavais of the Vallabhaite Sect, an exhibition organized by the University Art Museum, Santa Barbara, California with guest curator, Julia Emerson, which will be shown at the Krannert Art Museum from November 6 through December 20, 1987. The lecture, in the gallery of the museum, will be preceded by devotional singing by the Vallabh Priti Seva Samaj, pushti marg devotees, beginning at 7:00 pm.
