Free Burnside Groups

The purpose of the project is to further develop the methods that were created recently by the proposer to solve the long-standing Burnside problem on the finiteness of finitely generated groups that satisfy the law ꭕⁿ ≡ 1 for sufficiently large even exponents n. In particular, it is planned to obtain a complete description of all finite and locally finite subgroups of the free Burnside groups of sufficiently large exponents.
